Annabelle Marquis studied fine arts at C.E.G.E.P. St-Laurent (College) and graphic arts at C.E.G.E.P. Ahuntsic. Annabelle has devoted six years to graphic arts and illustrations. Following an increasing desire for artistic freedom she started painting and exhibited for the first time in 2006. The exhibition was a success mainly due to the works having maturity and a tinge of youth. Inspired by the success of this first exhibition she continued creating and presented a second exhibition in the spring of 2009. Her artistic approach is deeply tied to colors and composition. She has a unique way of mixing collage with paint. The essence of her works is spontaneity, freshness and joie de vivre.
